Chanel was born and raised in the city of Amsterdam in Holland. Together with three older brothers she grew up in a music-lovin' family, listening to great music like Iron Maiden, Michael Bolton, Paula Abdul, Bob Marley, The Parsons Project and lots of others. But also Spanish, Arabic, Indian and native Amercian music was played often. The diversity made that Chanel's grew on multi-purpose music, with influences from soul, rock, pop and disco music, together with the modern touch of today's artists.
